MONTICELLO — The University of Arkansas at Monticello and Cossatot Community College of the University of Arkansas (UA Cossatot) unveiled a partnership Wednesday, July 8, 2026, that would let UA Cossatot students earn a UAM Bachelor of Business Administration on UA Cossatot campuses.
The degree offering is pending approval from the Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board and the Higher Learning Commission, UAM said.
How the Campus-Within-a-Campus Degree Works
- Years 1-2: Students start as UA Cossatot students, at UA Cossatot tuition rates.
- Years 3-4: Students enroll as UAM students, at UAM rates, and keep taking courses on UA Cossatot campuses.
- Degrees: Students earn an associate degree from UA Cossatot and a bachelor’s degree from UAM.
- Scholarship: UAM’s Colt Transfer Scholarship pays $3,000 per semester to UA Cossatot students who complete 55 credit hours and keep at least a 2.5 GPA.
- Signing: Doss and Cole spoke and signed the agreement at UA Cossatot’s Nashville campus.
We are excited to launch our innovative campus-within-a-campus model with UA Cossatot.
