On March 11, Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas (PCCUA) and the University of Arkansas at Monticello signed a campus-within-a-campus partnership so Delta students can complete select UAM bachelor’s degrees without leaving PCCUA campuses in Helena-West Helena, DeWitt and Stuttgart.
Students may pursue a Bachelor of Arts in K-6 elementary education beginning May 2026 and a Bachelor of Business Administration beginning August 2026, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing targeted for fall 2027. Students spend the first two years at PCCUA tuition rates, then junior and senior years at UAM rates, earning both an associate and a bachelor’s degree.
UAM will offer the Ridge Runner Transfer Scholarship — $3,000 per semester — to PCCUA students who complete 55 credit hours with at least a 2.5 GPA. Chancellors Dr. Keith Pinchback and Dr. Peggy Doss framed the deal as keeping teachers, business professionals and future nurses in eastern Arkansas communities.
