Warren beat Crossett 9-4 in boys soccer on Tuesday, April 21, at Jim Hurley Jr. Stadium, with Jacarlos Marquez scoring six goals.
Daniel Garcia scored in the sixth minute. A Crossett own goal made it 2-0 in the 15th, and Crossett pulled one back in the 20th. Marquez converted a penalty in the 25th minute and scored again two minutes later. Joshua Romero added the fifth goal, and Marquez’s next one put Warren up 6-1. Crossett cut it to 6-2 before halftime, the Saline River News reported.
Marquez scored in the 56th minute for 7-2. Crossett scored twice more, in the 65th and 70th minutes. Marquez added the last two Warren goals, the second in the final minute.
