MONTICELLO — The Monticello City Council meets at 6 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 203 W. Gaines Ave. The city posts agendas and minutes at monticelloarkansas.us.

Who Sits on the Monticello City Council
The council includes the mayor and two aldermen from each of four wards, elected to two-year terms. Mayor Jason Akers chairs the council and votes only to break a tie. The city website lists these members:
