Arkansas Game and Fish Commission finalized 2026–27 waterfowl season dates at its April meeting (hosted at UAM in Monticello). Duck, coot, and merganser segments: Nov. 21–29, Dec. 10–23, and Dec. 26, 2026–Jan. 31, 2027. Veteran, active-duty military, and youth waterfowl hunt: Feb. 6–7.
Canada goose includes an early window Sept. 1–Oct. 15 plus the duck segments. White-fronted and light geese open Oct. 31. AGFC also approved WMA crowding fixes (non-motorized boat zones on parts of Bayou Meto and other WMAs; non-resident limits on Dave Donaldson Black River WMA during the first duck segment).
SE Arkansas hunters should pull live AGFC WMA maps and stamp requirements before opening day — iSEARK will not invent blind draws or closures.
