Forward Arkansas selected Warren School District for its District Contract Accelerator, awarding each participating district a $9,500 Spark Grant to redesign partnerships with instructional-service providers around measurable student outcomes.
Warren joins Cabot, Farmington, Mayflower and Pine Bluff in the 14-month cohort guided by the Center for Outcomes Based Contracting. Districts receive workshops, coaching, contract templates, data frameworks and quality assurance while Forward convenes peers to share practices for statewide scaling.
Meghan Busbey, senior director of programs, said outcomes-based contracts help districts tie education investments to student success and implement interventions with fidelity. Forward Arkansas, founded in 2015 by the Winthrop Rockefeller and Walton Family foundations, focuses on innovative practices that improve classroom and career outcomes.
