Warren may have a new industrial prospect on the board. At the city’s Sept. 14 council meeting, Mayor Gregg Reep reported that a California-based wood-products company is “seriously considering” the former poultry plant in Warren’s industrial park.
Reep did not name the firm or announce a timeline during the public session. The update came alongside other council business that night, including solar-farm grid connection work with Entergy and Fall Festival street closures for Oct. 31.
All six council members were present. Economic-development watchers will be looking for follow-up details — site work, incentives or a letter of intent — at later meetings.
