Junior Achievement of Arkansas will expand financial literacy and career readiness programs for Delta students with a two-year investment from the Walton Family Foundation.
The program is expected to serve more than 2,500 students a year in school districts that include Pine Bluff, Watson Chapel, KIPP Delta, Helena-West Helena, Clarksdale and Friendship Aspire Academy, across Jefferson and Phillips counties in Arkansas and Coahoma County in Mississippi.
Junior Achievement is teaming with Junior Achievement of Memphis and the Mid-South on a K–12 pathway of classroom lessons, a high school financial literacy course and virtual career exploration that covers budgeting, saving, credit and careers. More at jaark.org.
