Arkansas Food Hall of Fame Nominations Close Sept. 30

Nominations for the Division of Arkansas Heritage’s 10th annual Arkansas Food Hall of Fame close Sept. 30. Residents in all 75 counties — including Jefferson, Drew, Bradley, Ashley, Chicot, Desha and Lincoln — are encouraged to nominate restaurants, restaurateurs, food-themed events and culinary traditions that define their communities.

Categories include Arkansas Food Hall of Fame (long-standing restaurants), Restaurateur of the Year, Food-Themed Event, Gone But Not Forgotten, and People’s Choice. Nominations are accepted at ArkFoodHOF.com.

Organizers say each nomination helps preserve the people, places and traditions that shape Arkansas food culture, from multi-generation establishments to community festivals.
