Arkansas Game and Fish Commission lists alternative firearms deer on Cut-Off Creek WMA (Drew County, Zone 138) for Oct. 17–21, 2026, permit required.
The same 2026–27 card posts modern gun deer Nov. 14–18 (permit) and modern gun youth hunts Nov. 7–8 and Jan. 2–3. WMA bag limit is three deer, no more than two antlered bucks (15/18 Rule), with separate archery and permit-gun allowances. Crow season runs Sept. 3–Feb. 21 on Thursdays through Mondays; dove, rabbit, squirrel and quail dates follow the statewide WMA card.
Waterfowl notes for later in the season include boat travel limits on Cut-Off Creek and a closed Pigeon Creek Waterfowl Rest Area Nov. 1–Feb. 15. Hunters should pull the current AGFC WMA page and georeferenced maps before packing in.
