MONTICELLO — Citing critical winter weather and hazardous travel, UAM closed the Monticello, Crossett (UAM-CTC) and McGehee (UAM-CTM) campuses Monday, Jan. 26, 2026, canceling all classes and office operations, the university said Jan. 25.
All three campuses pivoted to virtual learning and virtual business operations Tuesday, Jan. 27, with follow-on weather notices extending virtual days later that week per subsequent UAM alerts. Students and staff were told to watch uamont.edu, local broadcast and UAMAlert.
