The 2026 graduates of the Practical Nursing program at the University of Arkansas at Monticello College of Technology-Crossett (UAM-CTC) achieved a 100% first-attempt pass rate on the NCLEX-PN licensure exam — the second consecutive perfect first-attempt year and the 17th such cohort since 1998.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Tracy Tucker praised the 10½-month, 42-credit program’s more than 800 clinical hours. The cohort includes graduates from Hamburg, Crossett, Warren, Jersey, Montrose and Hermitage. For the first time, three high school students — from Hermitage and Warren high schools — completed the technical certificate through state start-up grant support and earned the same clinical requirements as college classmates.
Instructor Shela Upshaw said the class’s dedication showed in both classroom and clinical work. Contact UAM-CTC at 870-460-2016 for program information.
