Three Southeast Arkansas organizations are among 33 nonprofits selected for funding through Summit Utilities’ Summit Cares program.
KVOM reported that recipients include Donna Terrell’s Warrior Lodge in Pine Bluff, the Stuttgart Public Library Foundation and Advantages of Southeast Arkansas in Monticello. Summit announced the selections during an Impact Celebration on Sept. 16.
The company said the 33 grants total $175,000 and support basic human needs, STEAM education, community enrichment and environmental stewardship. Summit did not disclose each organization’s award.
