The University of Arkansas at Monticello Forestry Club brought the Tall Pines Timber Challenge to the 2026 Bradley County Fair and Livestock Show on Saturday, Sept. 12, in Warren.
A youth division (ages 10 through 12th grade) opened at 10 a.m. with tree ID, equipment ID, compass and pacing, and a log “cookie toss.” An adult division (18+) started at 1 p.m. with crosscut sawing, axe throwing, a Jack-and-Jill competition and more.
