Arkadelphia scored three in the first inning on a two-run home run and a triple. Monticello trailed 6-3 going to the bottom of the seventh, tied it at 6-6 and won when Ed Ramos was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, scoring Hoover.
Against Nashville, Monticello trailed 3-0, tied it 4-4 in the fourth and scored twice in the sixth. Hoover finished the game on the mound. Monticello led the final 2-0 after one inning. Magnolia came back to take the lead and won going away.
