The fall edition of the Great South Arkansas Junk Hunt — a multi-county rummage sale trail — is scheduled Thursday through Sunday, Sept. 24–27.
Organizers say the route now passes through 13 counties: Cleveland, Ashley, Bradley, Calhoun, Columbia, Dallas, Drew, Grant, Lincoln, Jefferson, Ouachita, Saline and Union, with the map extended along Highway 270 from Sheridan to Poyen. Spring hunts are planned for the first weekend in April and fall hunts for the last weekend in September.
Re-New-ing Edinburg and other Cleveland County community groups have been preparing sale sites along the trail for the fall weekend.
