Three Drew Central students have made All-Region choir, the school’s choir program announced in a congratulations post shared by Monticello Live.
Who made the choir
- Madison Jones: Alto 1, sixth chair
- Justis Durden: Tenor 1, 39th chair
- Ayden Cochran: Tenor 1, 40th chair
All-Region choirs are picked through auditions, and chair numbers show where each singer placed within a voice part. Jones’s sixth-chair finish puts her near the top of the Alto 1 section.
A busy week for the Pirates
The choir news comes as Drew Central’s tennis team plays in the 3A state tournament Oct. 12 and 13. Drew Central serves students in and around Monticello in Drew County. Recent Drew Central coverage includes the 2026 homecoming court, and more local school news is on the iSEARK.com Monticello page.
