MONTICELLO — An 8.25-mile future Interstate 69 section between Highway 278 and Highway 293 east of Monticello is now projected for mid-2027 completion, several months later than a prior late-2026 estimate, ARDOT’s SFY2026 Q4 construction report shows.
About 61.8% of work was accepted; 327 of 627 working days assessed. Contract cost rose from about $61.9 million to $63.87 million for drainage/agricultural accommodations. WL Bass Construction is the prime contractor; work began February 2023.
