The Bradley County Chamber of Commerce Board on Jan. 12 reviewed how to spend a $7,500 Downtown Revitalization grant through Main Street Arkansas and heard a briefing on a $50,000 T-Mobile grant opportunity that could support redevelopment of the vacant Bryant’s lot on Main Street in Warren.
Main Street Arkansas’s Mark Miller suggested banners and brackets as near-term uses for the $7,500 award and said T-Mobile favors high-impact amenities such as amphitheaters or splash parks; the application deadline cited was March 31. Chamber Director Nancy Arnold also pushed a shared community events calendar for local businesses.
Board members reported a successful December Market on Main with 15 vendors beside the Christmas parade, planned a Feb. 7 Pop-Up at Sweet and Bloom Florist, and scheduled the community Easter egg hunt for April. Fundraising ideas included repeating hot-cocoa sales and exploring Halloween/fall events.
