The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff will host its 66th Rural Life Conference Nov. 4–6 at the Kenneth L. Johnson Health Physical Education and Recreation Complex.
The 2026 program, themed “An Experience Blending Education, Community and Celebration,” is expected to draw about 1,000 participants and will connect farmers, landowners, researchers, agencies and rural-development partners. The Nov. 6 conference includes more than 20 workshops on sustainable agriculture, forestry and rural development.
Preconference programming begins Nov. 4 with the Arkansas Delta Literacy Institute. On Nov. 5, a Landowner Retreat will cover land management, succession planning, cost-share programs and stewardship, followed by the conference’s 10th Anniversary Gala. Early registration runs through Sept. 30; student registration is free and a free wills clinic requires preregistration.
