Partnerships Behind the Growth
UAM expanded its campus-within-a-campus model with National Park College and the University of Arkansas-East Arkansas Community College. Chancellor Peggy Doss credited that model and the concurrent program for the growth.
“Our enrollment growth reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to expanding access to higher education across Southeast Arkansas and beyond.”
Dr. Peggy Doss, UAM chancellor
What UAM Planned Next
As of the release, UAM planned to introduce its first Ph.D. program in spring 2026, pending approval from the Higher Learning Commission. Doss described it as a doctoral program in forest resources. UAM also planned a pilot Collegiate Academy with Drew Central Public Schools, expected to launch the following fall.
