Pine Bluff City Council on Monday (Sept. 21) heard second reading of an ordinance that would rezone about 3.09 acres at 104 N. Bryant St. to B-4, General Commercial.
The ordinance states the Pine Bluff Planning Commission held a public hearing Aug. 25 and approved the request, noting no opposition. The same meeting also advanced a Bayou Bartholomew Commission ordinance on second reading and authorized negotiations with the Southeast Panthers Historical Society on the former Southeast High site.
Council separately approved a $54,000 Code Enforcement budget boost, appointed Kenneth Lipsmeyer to the A&P Commission, and certified nuisance-abatement costs to the county tax books.
