McGEHEE — The McGehee School District board unanimously selected Assistant Superintendent Justin Holt as the next superintendent, effective July 1, 2026, succeeding retiring Superintendent Linda Tullos, according to district remarks reported Feb. 5.
Holt joined the district in 2019 as McGehee High principal, moved to assistant superintendent in 2024, and holds education leadership degrees from Arkansas State University after a B.S.E. from UAPB. Board President Jeff Owyoung praised Holt’s preparation under Tullos.
Holt also serves on the McGehee Chamber board, as president of the McGehee Police Foundation, and on the Delta Country Club board — ties that matter in a small Delta district where school leadership and civic life overlap.
